Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead for the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher Martin was able to begin her career in acting at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was able to help her get her a role in the 1982 series 'Father Murphy'. After graduating from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. Martin, in addition to being an accomplished dancer and actress, is also a successful ballet photographer. Martin is the mother of two and the spokesperson of Lupus. Since her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been working to educate people about the disease.
