Kyra Minturn Sedgwick is one of the well-known American screen and television actress. Her role as the leading lady in the TV show "The Closer which is a hit all over the world and in America specifically. Sedgwick started to become fascinated by the art of the arts, Broadway, and acting at the age of 12 old. Her mother showed a keen fascination with the Broadway and brought her into it. When she was of 16 that Sedgwick was offered her first role as an actor in the television series 'Another World'. The actress went on to perform minor roles on TV, but it was the idea that she could be a famous actress that attracted her. Sedgwick was noticed at the top of the list for the first time in her supporting role in the film 'Born on the Fourth of July' in which she appeared with Tom Cruise. The success of Sedgwick in the film led to her getting roles in other films, such as "Heart and Souls, "Phenomenon," etc. The actor husband of her Kevin Bacon met her in the TV film "Lemon Sky.. He and she got married at 22. Sedgwick has left her mark on American TV with her easy acting. The Closer ran for 7 seasons and won her several awards including the Golden Globe.
